SEND Provision at Hampstead Parochial School
At Hampstead Parochial we welcome children of all abilities into our school. Our vision is to enable everyone within our community to flourish and enjoy a life filled with love, meaning and purpose.
Hampstead Parochial is an inclusive school in which everyone works hard to ensure that every child makes the greatest possible progress academically, socially and personally. Our SEND provision is personalised and targeted to respond to an individual’s identified needs. We support children through one to one and small group work, delivered wherever possible within the classroom. We work collaboratively with external health professionals, such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Educational Psychologists, to ensure that SEND children make good progress. We work in partnership with parents; we listen to parent’s views, discussing their child’s strengths and needs honestly so as to plan provision and next steps together.
We aim to accept any child with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) if we can meet their needs at our school. We are always happy to meet prospective parents to discuss the application for an individual child.
Our SENDCo, Mrs J Galton, can be contacted via the school office firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone 0207 435 4135.

SEN Information Report 2021-22
The purpose of our school’s SEN Information Report is to detail the approach to supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. It aims to inform stakeholders as to:
- how we welcome into our school children with special educational needs and/or disabilities;
- how we support them in all aspects of school life and remove barriers to achievement;
- how we work in partnership with parents/carers and children;
- how we make effective provision for all of our children with special educational needs and disabilities – SEND.
