World Book Day

On Thursday 2nd March we celebrated World Book Day. The children dressed up as their favourite literary character and helped to raise money for Book Aid International.  Across Africa, millions of people are unable to fulfil their potential because of a basic lack of books and reading resources. Literacy and access to information have been shown to reduce poverty, provide opportunities for work, increase household income, and even improves the health of children. A child born to a mother who can read is 50% more likely to survive past the age of five. All your kind donations will go to this amazing charity.
